On Saturday 2 April, Sue Ryder on Goosegate in Nottingham will host a fashion show with garments made by the in-house seamstress and NTU students.
Learn EventsSue Ryder, the national palliative, bereavement and neurological care charity, and its Goosegate shop in Hockley, has joined creative forces with students at Nottingham Trent University.
Together, both teams will stage an upcycled fashion showcase event, celebrating the shop’s vintage and retro offering. Garments created by the in-house seamstress using recycled textiles will be worn down the catwalk, supported by NTU students of art, illustration, graphics, photography, fashion design and fashion marketing.
Following the show, all items will be available to purchase, along with more one-of-a-kind garments made from donated fabrics. Items will be unisex and designed for all sizes, so whatever your style, there’s likely to be something here for you.
All proceeds will be donated to Sue Ryder.
