A new restaurant could be coming to a Grade II listed building in Nottingham city centre. Loungers want to turn the former Victoria Club casino into a 21,000 sq ft Cosy Club restaurant over three floors.
Life NewsThere are currently 23 Cosy Club venues in the UK. The building was constructed in the late 19th Century for the Imperial Life and Fire Insurance Company. It was altered to the Reform Club in 1913 and was most recently occupied as The Victoria Club.
“Loungers say the new venue would be a “significant” investment in Nottingham and would create jobs in the city in a building that has been vacant for 14 years.”
The plans reveal cellar and store areas on the basement level, bar/dining areas and toilets on the ground floor, bar/dining and kitchen on the first floor, and bar/dining and kitchen on the second floor.
