Two young, Chinese illustration artists have the same dream of becoming cartoonists. They met each other at ‘Scrawl Kingdom’ in 2004 and became intimate friends at first sight because they shared the same hobby, experience and dream.
Life News19 VAN,the artist and cartoonist is specialising in designing flat-cute models and creating feature story cartoons.
Born in 1981, in Fuzhou, Fujian province, China. Although graduated from Chinese department, he took the road of art as a cartoonist.
Now he has been working as an Independent artist, a illustrator, and a cartoonist. 19 VAN has opened studios both in Los Angeles(USA) and Hangzhou(China).
His “Bunny Gang” series has the honor to win a Golden Dragon award, which is the highest award for cartoonist's in China. The” Bunny Gang” was also the first feature story cartoon that changed TV animation. He has high attainments in designing mascots and models, and has been invited by the highest cartoon award Golden Monkey, Alibaba, The Qian Tang River of Hangzhou for mascot designing.
Born in Beijing in 1981 Independent Artist/ Illustrator/ Heilichee Brand Creator/Judge of design competitions.
For the artist Heilichee,” Never Fade” is his late leading product at present. It was formed by the little petal with Girls and Flower series, Girls and planets series and Girls and Insect series.
“Never Fade” has a bright concept, expresses personal independence, burst into gloom, the never faded dream, and the precious insist for dream, as well as the value of dream.
These two young illustration artists have the same dream of becoming cartoonists. They met each other at ‘Scrawl Kingdom’ in 2004. They became intimate friends at first sight because they shared the same hobby, experience and dream.
In 2008, they completed their first cooperation with the scrawl product “Plants and Fish”. The scrawl crew”19 Lichee” was born.
They begin to face the world with pure scrawl, they know each other very well and keep moving on with the same understanding.
