Nottingham Craft Beer Week, LeftLion and NFU Mutual are proud to present the inaugural Nottingham Craft Beer Festival at Sneinton Market Avenues on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 June.
Life AnnouncementsThe two-day event will take place at Sneinton Market Avenues on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 June. It will be a glorious celebration of amazing beer, street food and the finest music and entertainment.
The event will take over three sessions:
The festival will also act as the finale to Nottingham Craft Beer Week, which takes place from Saturday 9 – Saturday 16 June in over 30 bars across the city. It will feature 100s of different beers available from a range of stalls from bars and breweries who operate locally, nationally and internationally.
Festival organiser Al Gilby said:
“We love a good beer festival and the idea of putting one on in the Sneinton Market Avenues complex in the middle of summer was too good to resist. We’ll be showcasing the best local breweries alongside some of the best internationally. Since we first mooted the idea we’ve been inundated by breweries wanting to take part. There’ll be so many great beers on offer to taste, you won’t know where to start.”
BEAVERTOWN
Founded in 2014 in London by Logan Plant (son of Led Zeppelin frontman Robert) they’ve been at the forefront of the UK craft scene ever since. Their core range of Neck Oil, Lupuloid and Gamma Ray will all be on tap and you can expect a few specials too.
THORNBRIDGE
One of the most innovative craft breweries out there, they will be making the journey over from their headquarters in Bakewell and bringing over the likes of Jaipur, Wild Swan, Halcyon and plenty more with them.

JUNKYARD
One of Nottingham’s most loved bars will be making the short journey down the road from Hockley to bring us some of the very best American, British and European craft keg brews.

BLACK IRIS
Probably the most prominent brewery in Nottingham’s Craft Beer revolution. They now supply beers to hundreds of bars and pubs worldwide and their antics in dis-organising ‘Piss Up In A Brewery’ at last year’s Craft Beer Week gained them international acclaim.

FREEDOM
Let’s face it, it’s lager. But in our opinion it’s the most wonderful lager out there. They upped sticks from London to the Derbyshire countryside and brew some of the best hangover-free beers known to man. They have bees and honey involved in the process and all sorts.

SHINY BREWERY
They’ve been brewing award-winning beers in Derby since 2012. The likes of Affinity, New World, 4 Wood, Wrench and Tomahawk will all be around for you to savour.

LIQUID LIGHT
The relative new kids on the block in the Nottingham brewing scene, but their Less Dangerous, Pink Moon and Into The Void beers have been smashing it at venues like Head of Steam, The King Billy and the Kean’s Head. Pink moon is actually pink too.

CASTLE ROCK BREWERY
The granddaddies of the Nottingham brewing scene will be along in force at the event showcasing their classic range and more besides. They’ve won more awards for their beer than we can even count.

FONT CRAFT WORKS
The new craft beer arm of Nottingham’s Navigation Brewery will be bringing along a bar to showcase their new range of pale ales, including English, American and Grapefruit varieties.

More breweries are being confirmed as we speak. We’re expecting 15-20 stalls in total and will have some more exciting announcements towards the end of this month. We’ll also be announcing our street food and music line-up soon too.
