Nottingham based dance development organisation Dance4 brings a fantastic family fun day to the local community. Dance4 In The Park will take place on Saturday 28 July in King Edward Park, Sneinton.
Life NewsThe event will be a free day for the whole family. There will be live performances, bouncy castles, skate boarding, parkour, dance workshops, and much more.
Bring a picnic and enjoy refreshments from the ice cream van or Pavilion Café while watching the highlight performance of the day The Wild Grass, a performance spectacle with synchronised dancing lawn mowing by internationally renowned performance company Dog Kennel Hill Project (UK).
Activities commence at 10am and the park will be buzzing until 4.30pm.
Dance4 have teamed up with Sneinton Festival, STOP – TRA, Skate Nottingham, Nottingham City Council and local and international artists to create a memorable day for all.
Dance4 In The Park has been made possible by the generous donations raised through Dance4’s For Studio4 fundraising campaign and funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
Buy raffle tickets and be in with the chance of winning one of 5 new petrol lawn mowers, used as part of The Wild Grass performance, along with other great raffle and tombola prizes.
