A dynamic line up of DJs, starting with Crazy P and then will tag-team their beats over 24hrs to help homeless people.
Life NewsThe Big Spin will take place at event creator’s specialist DJ store; Synthetic Pro Audio at
Sneinton Market Avenues on Saturday 16 June from 12pm until Sunday 17 June at 12pm. This event is sponsored
by Pioneer DJ.
Their Hour slots are filling up fast for the charity event! It will fund work with rough sleepers in Nottingham that is led by local homelessness charity Framework. The full line-up is still to be announced and includes talent from Inland Knights, Ableton and Smokescreen Sound System. Each DJ will invite followers to sponsor their slot and donate towards the musical marathon.
Event creator Stephen Lee of Synthetic Pro Audi said:
“Since we opened our store and have spent time in the city centre we have seen the problem first hand. I see a lot of homeless people who need help every day and I also see a willingness to help from the people of Nottingham, especially in Sneinton. This is just our way of asking the audience to do the same. It’s devastating to think what it would be like to sleep rough so all the money raised through event donations will help people off the streets. The event has a £2,400 target and the 24hr running time is a reminder that homelessness is a 24-hr struggle for so many people.”
Martin Dockree, Country Sales Manager of sponsor, Pioneer DJ said:
“We’re pleased to be involved in this great event helping homeless people in the city of Nottingham.”
All are welcome to visit the event and enjoy the event during public viewing times. Event information including available DJ slots, giveaways and donation links can be found on Framework's website and Synthetic Pro Audio's website or by visiting the store at Unit 19, Avenue B at Sneinton Market in Nottingham.
