Three Nottingham organisations are working together to ensure the most vulnerable members of our society are not denied a magical Christmas. The Creative Quarter are delighted to be working with Switch Up and Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature to make sure books are included in food parcels to families who are vulnerable and facing challenging circumstances this winter.
We’re asking for public support to bring literature and light into the lives of vulnerable families, using the power of books to connect with their lives. You can support this campaign by buying a new book from any featured in the top 20 bestseller charts for fiction, non-fiction, children’s and poetry, or a graphic novel or childhood favourite of your own.
You can also include a personal message of hope inside your donated books, and either post directly or drop off at one of the following book drop off points:
We will be taking deliveries of the books until 10th December 2021, as we’ll want to make sure the books are packed and sent out with food parcels before Christmas.
Modern urban living in and amongst refurbished lace factories and warehouses. On-trend independent retailers and many bars, restaurants, cafés, galleries, arts cinema and theatres. A buzz in the daytime and a rhythm at night.
