Nonsuch have opened its doors for a day of cultural and creative activity, but they need people to help and take part!
Life NewsThe Fun Palaces movement are free days of cultural and creative activity for all, that happen across the country on the first weekend in October. For more information please click here: http://funpalaces.co.uk/about/
Nonsuch been wanting to host a fun palace for Nottingham for a long time and now finally have a space in which they can host one and so they’re opening up all their spaces for the day for anyone who would like to take part in the activity and run something.
Fun Palaces are an open celebration of cultural democracy and generally filled with lots of activities from multiple organisations, individuals who want to give back and do something special. Therefore they’re opening their space for anything, any of you might like to do to inspire, engage and entertain fun palace attendants.
Fun Palaces aren’t funded, and so activity is done on a voluntary basis and so it’s a great opportunity to do something that may be already funded or act as engagement/marketing for other activities. Equally you and your organisation are more than welcome to offer any workshops.
Things we think would be great to have:
If you’d be interested - take a look at their studios (wearenonsuch.com/studios) as they’re opening them all for the day to host activities and then simply send an email with anything you’d like to do to edward@wearenonsuch.com.
(No need for a full proposal, just remember it has to be FREE!)
