The Renewal Trust is holding a FREE Community Fun Day at Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre, on Sunday 29 July from 11am to 3pm – for local communities in the area and beyond.
Life NewsThis is the Renewal Trust’s third annual Community Fun Day which drew over 400 visitors last year. The day includes a whole range of family-friendly activities including inflatable slides and bouncy castles; circus workshops; science-busking tricks with Ignite Futures; the chance to try out a new football programme, Footie Starz, absolutely free; face-painting; reptile handling including snakes and spiders; Peppa Pig and other children’s favourites; BBQ and refreshments; dance groups; a tombola and raffle; a free goody bag for the first 200 visitors and the chance to sit in a real fire engine and police car (as long as they’re not needed for emergencies).
The event is FREE to attend so why not pop down and bring your family for a fun-packed day. All ages welcome.
The Renewal Trust is a nationally-recognised Community Development Trust working with local communities in St Ann’s, Sneinton and Mapperley. It runs a range of exciting, affordable sports and fitness classes at the Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre – for walking babies, children, young people and adults, so the event will also be a great chance to find out what’s on offer at the centre, from football, tennis and netball to regular holiday clubs for children.
The Community Fun Day is being supported by TBS Facilities Management Ltd, who are based at The Renewal Trust’s Carlton Road Business Centre.
