A few details:
What’s your background?
A mix of admin, office management, working for small creative businesses and running my own jewellery company.
Describe your role at the CQ:
The Big House project support, office management and finance support, PA to the CEO
Tell us about a part of your job that people might not realise you do?
I’m usually the one who answers any phone enquiries at the CQ office, and I’m the first contact people have when registering their interest in the Big House program.
What is your favourite part of working at the CQ?
Our amazing team and being based in the avenues!
What places in the CQ do you love to visit when you’re not in work?
Loads of the businesses down here at Sneinton market, (including the vegan market on the old square at the weekends!) but faves in Hockley also include Jamcafe, 31k, Rough Trade and Broadway. Events at the Carousel and One Thoresby Street are great and the ever faithful Sue Ryder and Cow both have my heart when it comes to shopping.

Modern urban living in and amongst refurbished lace factories and warehouses. On-trend independent retailers and many bars, restaurants, cafés, galleries, arts cinema and theatres. A buzz in the daytime and a rhythm at night.
Nottingham Trent University, the UK’s University of the Year, has a Creative Quarter campus. Nottingham College is investing £58m in a new skills hub. Confetti is expanding fast. Metronome is open for business and learning.
