A bit about you:

- Company role: Marketing and Events Assistant
- What’s your background? I graduated last year from Fashion Communication and Promotion at NTU. I recently got the job here at the Creative Quarter; I’ve been working here for about three months so far.
Describe your role at the CQ:
My role is quite varied, which I like because it means no day is the same. I work on promoting an array of upcoming events and local businesses within our area: part of this includes designing promotional materials like posters, banners and social media graphics. I keep an eye on things that are happening around the CQ, and make sure socials are updated to fit. I also write website articles and newsletters to keep people updated on the latest happenings around the CQ.
Tell us about a part of your job that people might not realise you do?
We’re quite a small team so there’s lots to get involved with. Recently I’ve been enjoying getting involved with planning the creative direction of some exciting future events. There’s a lot to do and It’s great to be able to try my hand at lots of different bits and pieces.
What do you love about working at the CQ?
My team are all lovely, I love working alongside them!
What places in the CQ do you love to visit when you're not in work
I love anywhere with a nice outdoor space, so places like Jam Café or even coffee places like Kigali. I also like to a have a good look in charity shops/vintage places so COW & (the many) White Rose shops are great.
