The University of Nottingham spends approximately £168m per annum on procurement activity across goods and services. It’s a massive market for any business, but there’s still a misconception that only big brands can compete for this work.
Work OpportunitiesIn recent years there’s been a drive for public sector organisations to award contracts of all sizes to smaller firms. That is why we are taking a moment for self-reflection and are asking with so much work on the line, why do small businesses sometimes still feel like they can’t compete?
This November, we will be hosting two events, designed to enable the local business community to find out more about becoming a supplier to the University of Nottingham. Featuring Julia Fancourt, Director of Procurement Transformation at the University and her colleague Sam Welch, Procurement Transformation Manager, we’ll be covering all aspects of the process, including the opportunities, the process and key contacts.
We also want to hear your thoughts about what we could do to make the process easier for you – whether you are already a supplier to the University, or would like to become one in the future.
Please note, both of these events will be identical in content, so you need only register for one. We will be hosting one evening session on Tuesday 19th November and one breakfast session on Thursday 21st November, in the hope that this will allow the greatest number of people to attend at a time that fits in around their business priorities.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity for great networking, a free breakfast and an insight into how how your business could work with the University of Nottingham.
