While many face-to-face events have been cancelled, we are finding ways to continue offering business support via online seminars.
Work EventsOn Tuesday 17 March it was announced that in light of the government's latest advice regarding coronavirus, all face-to-face Big House events and mentoring up until the end of the month would be postponed.
The Creative Quarter, as a Big House partner has a number of events scheduled over the coming weeks, which will no longer be able to go head in their current format. However, within hours, we were able to confirm with facilitators that certain events would be able to go ahead online. We trialled an online approach with our first webinar on Business Growth on Thursday 19 March, delivered by Bertie Cordingley. We were pleased with how the event went, and we are continuing to work through our planned programme and move as many events as possible online.
We will keep a close eye on the developing situation and make a decision regarding our April events in due course. We will continue to support creative and digital businesses and entrepreneurs online and over the phone wherever we can, and we are looking into the ways in which we can continue our support programmes during this time.
