Season two of the Creatives’ Club launches this June with a packed line up of guest speakers, specialist advice surgeries and even an urban garden party.

The season kicked off on Wednesday 13th June at the Malt Cross with a session on “Why you need a client contract” with Heather Stanford-Gould who gave her 5 top tips to drawing up a simple, straightforward client contract that works! Heather brings over 25 years’ experience in providing assistance on operational, contractual and legal matters to businesses. Her expertise can help businesses understand the frameworks businesses need in place to protect themselves.
The next Creatives' Club event is an Urban Garden Party on Tuesday 19th June from 5.00pm at Think in NG, Cobden Chambers, where weather permitting, there will be networking in the courtyard and the opportunity to have a free, high-quality, headshot taken by a professional photographer. The new season of Creatives’ Club networking events will run regularly from June 13th to 8th August at various locations throughout Nottingham including the Malt Cross, Antenna and the brand new venue, The Creative Clubhouse.

Designed to bring together a like-minded crowd of designers, makers, creators, digital nomads, entrepreneurs and business owners, the Creatives’ Club networking event has seen talks on happiness from HyggeBox, gaining competitive advantage with Cryptocurrency from Imaginaire Design and an honest account of making the leap into freelance from Magda K Photography.
We've also been joined by James Bryan of Skeleton Productions provided us his wisdom on using video to promote your business, plus Alex Traska, Creative Director of Makermetshared his creatives guide to stealing, lying, collaborating & making mistakes, as well as an inspiring talk from Susan Hallam MBE on upscaling your business. The new calendar of events promises to deliver even more insight, inspiration and opportunities to make valuable connections.
Complete with soundtracked speed networking, a series of inspirational keynote speakers and opportunities for practical activities and advice, it is ‘don’t miss’ for creative types in Nottingham and Derby.
