Inspire are looking for a creatively curious visual artist and an author/writer who get excited about a blank page, like to think imaginatively and enjoy sparking off other people.
Work OpportunitiesEach year Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries commission an artist and author to create and deliver a programme of visual art and literacy activity for children and families, inspired by and linked to their Summer Reading Challenge.
Stimulating creativity and imagination, they are looking for creatives to enhance their existing library programmes, influence new directions using their professional expertise and leave a legacy of collaborative work.
The Artist and Author in Residence will:
Modern urban living in and amongst refurbished lace factories and warehouses. On-trend independent retailers and many bars, restaurants, cafés, galleries, arts cinema and theatres. A buzz in the daytime and a rhythm at night.
Nottingham Trent University, the UK’s University of the Year, has a Creative Quarter campus. Nottingham College is investing £58m in a new skills hub. Confetti is expanding fast. Metronome is open for business and learning.
