Inspire Call-out for Artist/Author in Residence 2021

Each year Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries commission an artist and author to create and deliver a programme of visual art and literacy activity for children and families, inspired by and linked to their Summer Reading Challenge.

Stimulating creativity and imagination, they are looking for creatives to enhance their existing library programmes, influence new directions using their professional expertise and leave a legacy of collaborative work.

The Artist and Author in Residence will:

• Take wide inspiration from the Summer Reading Challenge 2021
• Design and deliver a creative project that engage children and families
• Work collaboratively with Inspire and each other
• Engage school communities and libraries in art and reading

Deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 1 February 2021.
