Nottingham Light Night will be back for a fourteenth edition of this highly successful event on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th February 2023. The event aims to bring innovative, interactive and engaging installations, performances and activities to Nottingham city centre after dark.
Work OpportunitiesNottingham Light Night is co-ordinated by Nottingham Events, Nottingham Business Improvement District (BID) and It’s In Nottingham, with potential for public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England following a recent award submission for the event.
Nottingham cultural institutions, artists, creatives and community organisations are now being invited to participate in the event. Groups and individuals can be involved either working independently, or as a part of a collective to present.
You can participate in a number of ways:
1. Submit a creative proposal for the ‘Lighting Up Listergate’ Nottingham Light Night Commission for 2023 (£7,500)
2. To present an event or installation in a venue (No financial support)
3. To participate in our High Street businesses micro co-commissions pairing cultural partners, artists and creatives with High Street businesses (£500)
4. To present an event or installation making use of city centre public realm (No financial support)
