Nottingham City of Literature are seeking to appoint new Trustees who have the skills and interests to make their mark in one of the UNESCO Creative Cities at a time of significant development.

The permanent designation as a UNESCO Creative City enables them to use the power of words to transform lives, create new opportunities and establish Nottingham as a leading destination for lovers of literature worldwide.

In our vibrant literary city, there's a real hunger for live experiences. Talent is everywhere you look. From the base in Bromley House Library, Nottingham City of Literature is here to feed that hunger and nurture that talent. From first-time writers to established novelists, they currently:

What is really important to them is finding trustees who share our ambition of building a better world with words. Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature is an educational charity and is supported and funded by Arts Council England, Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Trent University and University of Nottingham.
