Grads4Nottm is an NTU initiative, intended to partner students and graduates with businesses within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire to solve problems and think up new ways of working.
Work OpportunitiesGrads4Nottm returns for 2021, going virtual for the second time, and the scheme represents an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their work and get free access to NTU students and graduate talent.
This year's event will take place online between Monday 14th - Friday 25th June. The scheme is open to students from all academic disciplines and backgrounds, with a focus on enabling social mobility. All businesses in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire are invited to submit challenges inspired by their own workplace projects.
During the two-week period, NTU's talent will work on challenges submitted by participating employers. All challenges are advertised anonymously, in order to remove any brand bias and to encourage students and graduates to apply based on the opportunity closest matched to their skillset. Projects are normally completed in small groups, with in excess of 100 academic participants in 2020.
Should your challenge be accepted, you will be invited to a virtual employer Kick Off event on Monday 7th June 2021, where NTU will outline the finer details of the following two weeks.
On Monday 14th June 2021, you will then attend the Grads4Nottm Launch event. Here you will meet your students for the first time.
Finally, on Friday 25th June, NTU will invite all participants to take part in a celebration event, to present their work to a wider audience.
