The government have released a number of resources for businesses to access ahead of the launch of the NHS Track and trace app on Friday 24 September.
Work NewsOn Friday 18 September, new regulations came into force that stipulated hospitality, leisure venues and close contact services such as hairdressing salons, are now legally required to enforce the 'Rule of Six' or face a fine up to £4000. These venues are now also required by law to maintain records of customer contacts, and display a new NHS QR code poster, which will work with the Track and Trace app, due to launch this Thursday 24 September.
It is recommended that ALL business with a customer-facing premises also create their own QR code poster to display from Thursday 24 September and help encourage accurate tracking. If individuals choose to check-in using the QR code poster they do not need to log in via any other route.
A new government webpage with resources, including information on the Track and Trace App, and tools to help create your own unique QR code poster is now live.
