As part of the government's Kickstart Scheme, the Creative Quarter is looking for a Marketing and Events Assistant to help with the delivery of a successful Big House programme for the organisation, as well as supporting the Marketing Manager with the general marketing of the Creative Quarter.
Work OpportunitiesThe government's Kickstart Scheme, launched earlier this year, has been set up to help young people find work after a difficult year for businesses and jobs across all sectors. The scheme is aimed at 16-24 year olds who are currently unemployed, registered with their local job centre and receiving Universal Credit.
You can read more about the role by downloading the job description and person specification here.
This role is only open to people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are currently unemployed and registered for Universal Credit.
You can register online here. Once you have been registered, you will be booked an appointment with a Job Coach from your local Jobcentre Plus. These appointments are currently taking place over the phone/on video call.
Once you have a Job Coach, ask to be referred for the Creative Quarter Marketing and Events Assistant role via Nottingham Jobs. We have teamed up with Nottingham Jobs to offer this role, and they will receive a referral on our behalf. You will then be asked to send your CV and cover letter to Nottingham Jobs on kickstart@nottinghamcity.gov.uk. Once Nottingham Jobs have received the referral and your application, they will forward them on to us here at the Creative Quarter.
We're afraid not. Nottingham Jobs need the referral from your Job Coach to confirm that you are eligible and registered for Universal Credit. But if you have any questions about the job before you apply, you are welcome to email us hello@creativequarter.com.
We have extended the deadline for applications to Friday 9 July. Shortlisting will take place w/c Monday 12 July with the aim for interviews to take place at the end of that week, or the start of w/c Monday 19 July. We will contact all applicants after shortlisting to let them know whether or not they have been selected to attend an interview.
