The CQ is supporting local businesses thanks to East Midlands Chamber and the Community Renewal Fund
Starting in April 2022, The Creative Quarter will be supporting local businesses to create and safeguard jobs whilst recovering from the pandemic. The funding for this support comes from HM Government's Community Renewal Fund, delivered in conjunction with East Midlands Chamber.
Priority groups we aim to support include:
• Visitor Economy (and its supply chain)
• Wholesale and Retail
• Manufacturers
• Black-owned businesses
However all business sectors are eligible for the following range of FREE support:
Business Diagnostic Report (BDR) session
Our Business Engagement Manager can carry out a 1 hour assessment to identify business strengths and weaknesses, exploit opportunities for growth before matching you to a suitable mentor.
Mentoring
Our specialist business mentors can provide 3-hours of free 1:1 business mentoring on business strategy and plans for growth, actions to achieve and signposting networking and business support opportunities with partners and other agencies.
Networking
We are offering the following monthly breakfast networking session at Antenna to bring established and growing businesses together to collaborate, challenge and share, focusing on growth and barriers to growth:
• Wed 27th April @ 8:30am - 10:00am (Legal with Heather Stanford from Stanford Gould)
• Wed 25th May @ 8:30am - 10:00am (HR with Rebecca Bull from My HR Hub)
• Wed 29th June @ 8:30am - 10:00am (Finance with Alice Davidchack from Business Engine Room)

Promoting your business
You can set up a profile of your business on CQ Finder. It's free to do, and we highlight companies from the directory each month on the Creative Quarter's website and newsletter. Our CQ Finder directory also enables you to search and advertise properties, workspaces and studios, as well as job opportunities.
