This role is based within the Knowledge Exchange team at NTU and will be supporting the development and delivery of B2B marketing campaigns to raise the profile of the business support projects, working to the strategy set by the Marketing Manager.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
1. Support the development and implementation of marketing plans to achieve the project’s objective of engaging small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, and Nottinghamshire (D2N2) area.
2. Develop, prepare and deliver promotional activity through multi-channel marketing materials and case studies about the support available to SMEs and their employees to encourage engagement.
3. Work with the broader Corporate Marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) teams to schedule direct marketing communications for SMEs as required, and ensure the CRM database is used to good effect.
4. Work with the Marketing Manager to effectively manage and develop relevant content on the Business and Employers section of the NTU website, and other digital campaigns as they relate to the project.
5. Work with the Marketing Manager and project Compliance, Data and Administration Officer to ensure all marketing materials comply to ESF guidelines, as well as NTU brand guidelines and key marketing messages.
6. Assist with the co-ordination and delivery of business workshops and seminars and at internally and externally organised events to support development of new and existing relationships with SMEs and stakeholders.
7. Develop strong working links with marketing teams in strategic partner organisations such as the D2N2 Growth Hub, and business representative groups such as the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Directors, FSB, Make UK, and other stakeholders such as relevant local authorities.
8. In collaboration with colleagues in Corporate Marketing, liaise with the University’s appointed marketing agencies for advertising and publicity, and other suppliers to support the delivery of marketing plans and activities.
