This role is based within NTU's Knowledge Exchange department and will primarily be responsible for the the development and delivery of a comprehensive marketing strategy and associated campaigns to raise the profile of a business support programme.
1. Working to implement marketing plans to achieve the project’s objectives of engaging SMEs in the Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (D2N2) area.
2. Deliver high-quality promotional activity and publicity campaigns which will encourage SME and learner engagement with the High Level Skills programme.
3. Develop and create a broad range of inclusive marketing content spanning print, website, social media, and email marketing, ensuring the content is timely, engaging and relevant to the target market to support the wider marketing plans. This will include the development of a range of case studies to demonstrate the success and impact of the programme
4. Ensure both NTU and external stakeholder marketing materials comply with European Social Fund (ESF) brand and publicity guidelines, being
sure to remain fully appraised of any changes or updates.
5. Liaise with and lead on the procurement of external marketing and creative services agencies to deliver services such as photography, videography, design work and external advertising.
6. Assist with the coordination and delivery of business workshops, seminars and events to support relationships with existing organisations and to establish new organisational links.
7. Identify market research and market intelligence requirements that will provide insights and identify opportunities for marketing to SMEs and prospective learners.
8. Develop and maintain strong working links with the respective marketing teams in partner organisations, and in particular the D2N2 Growth Hub, business representative groups (such as the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Directors, Federation of Small Businesses and Make UK), and other local stakeholders.
9. Monitor and report on the relevant marketing budgets to ensure value for money through ongoing budget reviews and regular analysis of activity.
10. Effectively line manage, support and develop the Marketing Executive.
