Looking for something in the CQ? Creative Quarter?

Assistant Administrator

Are you our new Assistant Administrator? We're looking for someone who shares our passion for supporting business start-ups and growth and has the skills to support data collation and reporting as well as digital marketing and general admin.

Due to expansion, we have a wonderful part-time opportunity available in our Business & IP Centre Nottinghamshire team. Ideal for someone looking for a mixture of home working and being with colleagues.

We’re looking for a motivated and highly organised self-starter to be our Assistant Administrator. You’ll be helping to shape the running of a project dedicated to supporting a thriving business community across Nottinghamshire through local libraries.

This role is a jack-of-all trades role when it comes to administration with plenty of room for development and growth. You’ll be using your brilliant communication skills to write a range of copy and correspondence to customers and stakeholders. Equally, your meticulous attention to detail will be pivotal for updating records, systems, and compiling data for reports for our funders and stakeholders.

We want you to have a keen interest in supporting Nottinghamshire’s independent businesses and entrepreneurs and be as excited as we are when it comes to putting local libraries on the map as spaces for businesses to access resources and advice.

Business & IP Centre Nottinghamshire is part of a national network led by the British Library, so you’ll not only have the support of local colleagues, but country-wide connections to other BIPC sites around the UK.

The role will require travel to library sites across city and county. The post is fixed-term to the end of March 2023.
