We are looking for a full stack web developer to join our team who can work with some of our high-profile clients, fit within our hard-working and passionate team and grow within a fast-paced, high energy environment.
The Dairy is a Nottingham-based full-service creative agency working across marketing strategy and planning, design, web, social media and PR. The company is 17 years old and continues to grow and succeed in a competitive market place - producing great work that our clients appreciate.
We have worked hard to build a successful and reputable agency by employing great people with expertise in various areas of marketing and communication, whilst winning exciting business from a range of clients across the East Midlands region.
The role is focussed on developing WordPress sites alongside our design studio, liaising with account managers and ensuring development and code follows best practice and meets industry standards. You will need to be able to work to strict deadlines and successfully communicate with the wider Dairy team.
Requirements for the successful candidate will be:
- 2+ years of industry experience
- 2:1 university degree or higher
- Knowledge of and experience with:
- WordPress CMS
- PHP
- Javascript, jQuery & AJAX
- HTML5
- CSS
- SQL
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS
- SASS (or LESS, but SASS is preferred)
- Gulp (PrePros accepted)
- ACF Pro (relationship & post object experience)
- cPanel & server management
- Website migration
- WooCommerce
Desirables:
- Experience with API integration & development
- Experience with GIT versioning & deployment
- Practical experience in Google analytics
- Understanding/experience of SEO
- UI/UX skills
- Knowledge of other CMSs (I.E. Magento, Craft)
