We are an Architectural Design and Interior Design practice based in the heart of the Lace Market.
DL Design Studio was started in 2012 by Daniel Lacey from a studio in Oldknow`s Factory, on the edge of Nottingham City centre. This was a fantastic spot on the fifth floor of an ex lace factory.
In 2019 we decided that a move closer to the city centre would be beneficial and came across the premises in the Creative Quarter. Relocating in May after successfully renovating a ground floor space within the listed Birkin Building.
The team offer experienced services in concept design, planning support and applications, design development, building control support, construction design, collation and head of design, consultancy team and design management.
We tailor our services to suit the specific requirements of our clients and their projects across all sectors of industry.
Our most recent notable projects in the city include the completion of a purpose-built apart hotel in the Canning Circus Conservation Area. We were lucky to be involved with the conversion of a newly discovered cave network into a wine tasting venue.
Also, commissioned early in 2020, to assist the client in designing and delivering the full renovation and refurbishment of the Grade 2* listed former Bestwood Pumping Station.
