Acoustickle is the original live music event where audiences come to discover emerging music artists, all in a decorated and exciting atmosphere.

ACOUSTICKLE: Music & Magic since 2009

We are an independent live music event that works on a number of levels to make each Acoustickle a special experience:

ATMOSPHERE: People come to feel relaxed, comfortable and inspired in our decorated Eastern jazz club setting; with cabaret seating, candles and sweet scents like vanilla wafting through the air. In recent years visual artists Hannah Money and Christine Mystique have taken turns to decorate the stage and create artistic props to hang around the room.
MUSIC: Live acts we book have a special quality we love and want to share with you. Whether it be their voice, lyrics or instrument playing - it will be a gift we believe deserves encouragement and recognition. You’ll also always hear a DJ presenting the diverse styles of jazz, soul, hip hop and RnB from around the world.
IN THE MOMENT: Some performances at Acoustickle have never before been seen, either because we specially asked artists to work together, or because particular live acts are performing their first ever gig in front of you! We cherish these interactions.
INDEPENDENT SPIRIT: We invite local businesses to exhibit at our events. You can usually grab hot food or dessert, and see stalls held by talented clothes designers, natural product makers, jewellery crafters and henna tattoo artists.
COMMUNITY: Acoustickle is a child of Nottingham, with international ambition. Our birthplace is one of diversity, talent and collaboration, so we love to see our audience members happily networking with like-minded souls.
SOULFUL, JAZZY & HIP HOP LADEN: We are refining our style to focus even more on independent jazz, soul, hip hop, RnB and spoken word. We do however enjoy a wild-card or two...
