Originally trained as a knitwear designer I have updated my skills and work as a textile designer and artist

I originally trained as a knitwear designer and spent many years as a designer, retailer and wholesaler handmade knitwear. I also worked as a freelance designer working on projects for many clients including M&S suppliers and some UK spinners. I then started to develop ranges of designs which were sold by agents mainly in the USA, also in Europe and Japan, these included embroidery designs both on knitwear and woven fabrics.
I have developed my skills set and now work as a textile designer and artist, I used dyed fabrics and threads for my work and work extensively in sketchbooks
