My Sneinton Market Avenues studio embodies everything about my love of all things paper and textiles and enthusing others to explore their own creativity. I teach a range of crafting skills in a multitude of disciplines and have wide experience of instructing people from all age ranges - from primary schools to elderly care homes, community groups to private tuition for individuals, clubs and businesses.

I am a designer / maker of handcrafted papercuts scherenschnitte) and lasercut artworks. I also have a wealth of experience in graphic design, publication compilation and production, and event management.

Botanical influences feature heavily in my creativity and my passion for all things flora further manifests in my enthusiasm for urban greening. I am Vice President of Nottingham City WI, the ‘friends’ group for Barker Gate Rest Garden (one of the smallest parks in Nottingham city centre) and sit on the board of the Nottingham Open Spaces Forum. I am spearheading the ambitious People’s Forest Project together with Robin Hood (Ade Andrews) to plant oaks and other native trees to join Nottingham with Sherwood Forest once again.
