Underhill Creative is a production company based in the Midlands offering expressive photo and video content.

Underhill Creative is co-directed by Filmmaker and Photographer George Howard Rees-Jones and Artist Reece Straw. Operating professionally since 2016 Underhill has seen collaboration with clients across Fine Art, Design, Theatre, Music, Fashion, Professional hairdressing and Indie Filmmaking.

George began his practice travelling to China and Rwanda on separate documentary projects. Experiencing international culture developed his understanding of filmmaking, through working in diverse environments with unique individuals. George later ventured into writing and directing short films, as well as gaining valuable experience on large scale productions.
Reece has a firm background in the arts regularly placing his work in an exhibition context exploring the conceptual value of his subjects. Paired with a history of supporting independent creative organisations and familiar with the process of making something from nothing, community is at the heart of Reece’s practice.
Combining these skill sets has resulted in the ability to create cinematic yet honest works that rely on the intimacy and trust between filmmakers and client.

Fundamentally we are cinema lovers, our visual research across the history of cinema and fine art heavily influences our work adding a rehearsed critical voice to everything we do.
