Award winning mosaic artist creating interior wall art, public art sculptures and bespoke commissions. Mosaic workshops, schools and community arts projects.
I have been creating contemporary mosaic artwork from my studio in Nottinghamshire since 2010. All work is handcrafted, combining a mix of materials from glass and ceramic through to natural stone and slate. Inspired by nature and the changing landscape, I am an admirer of rocks, beach ceramic and reclaimed materials which often find a way into my work.
I like to work freehand in an abstract style guided by the shape and form of these materials, creating texture, pattern and a sense of movement. Every artwork is original and can never be repeated exactly.
I largely work to commission with recent clients including David Wilson Homes, Anstey Parish Council, Aardman Animations and Baresca Tapas Bar. Alongside this I have a small collection of exhibition pieces and interior wall art available to purchase.
If you would like to experience making a mosaic for yourself, I run studio workshops and design mosaic projects for schools and community groups. My new ‘mosaic in a box’ kit has been developed with mosaic making at home in mind.
