MASTERING IS THE FINAL STAGE OF THE ARTISTIC PROCESS, THE LINK BETWEEN AUDIO PRODUCTION AND THE CONSUMER.
The work of the mastering engineer is in understanding this translation. Our knowledge comes from experience of formats and years of listening to music on appropriate monitoring in a purpose-built environment. This means we can comprehend what good tonal and dynamic balance is. Only then, can music be appropriately manipulated, taking great mixes and translating them to all environments no matter what the delivery format.
Every song and album is unique, my job is to present the music’s qualities during the mastering process. This is what you’ll get from me every time, honest appreciation of your work, and professionalism in knowledge of delivery.
If you have a project in mind, get in touch, I’m always happy to talk about audio!
