A Retrospective of Women in Soundsystem and Pirate Radio. Shannen SP in conversation w Jlte (BOSS - Black Obsidian Sound System)
Shannen SP is the co-curator, alongside Kode9, and resident of London’s mid-week monthly Hyperdub event Ø, as well as a NTS Radio resident hosting the I.D.S.T show. We invite her to Nottingham to host a live discussion surrounding her career in electronic music, DJing and A&R, followed by a Q&A session with Jlte from Black Obsidian Sound System (QTPOC collective built and run by womxn and people of colour). The two will openly and honestly discuss what it means to be womxn of colour in dance music.
