6th July 2019
14:00 - 16:00 BST
Learn a new creative skill with artist Sarah Satchell. This fun outdoor art activity is suitable for families with children aged 5+.
We will use a variety of bright flower petals & leaves picked from the garden, which are laid onto small squares of cotton fabric, and gently hammered. The natural dye pigments transfer from the petals on to the cloth, producing amazing flower colours.
You will leave with finished flower-dyed squares. Use them to decorate your home or turn them into greetings cards!
The workshop will take place in City Arts’ Community Garden (or indoors if it is raining!).
