11:00 - 17:00 BST
Whether you're still BCCing people when you e-mail your contacts or the GDPR has sent your mailing list(s) into a tailspin, this workshop is your opportunity to reclaim e-mail as a medium for marketing and communication.
I'm Dee, the workshop leader. I own MinorOak Coworking, a bricks-and-mortar business in Sneinton Market. I've created effective, GDPR-compliant mailing lists that help publicise my events and offers and keep people who are interested in my business engaged. In the past, I've managed MailChimp lists for community organisations and my own online businesses.
Because social media is hit-and-miss when it comes to delivering information to your community, customers or clients, mailing lists are a valuable resource you don't want to neglect! Find out how you can improve the quality and size of your list(s) while maintaining GDPR compliance - and make your email communication more engaging and effective than ever.
Attend the workshop from 11 am to 1 pm, and you'll get a half day pass for MinorOak that you can use in the afternoon to work with other participants and get your mailing lists up and running. Alternatively, save the half day pass for later.

The workshop was fabulous. The facilities are great, your presentation covered all the bases and I came away with access to other really useful resources. The opportunity to put it all into practice in a shared work environment was icing on the cake.

I found the presentation very informative and useful and really enjoyed spending the afternoon working on my project. I had a really productive afternoon and got a lot more done than I would have if I was working at home.
