Get to Know Fest is a brand new Hip Hop/RnB event, showcasing the newest and developing talent from around the Nottingham music scene. Brought to you in collaboration with Baby People & The Big House, the event will also give YOU the opportunity to network and display your own skills, in the Producer Showcase and Open Mic/Cypher!
Performances from the likes of; Elmx XIX, Kairori and Abii!
Producer Showcase; Beats and music displayed by local producers and the opportunity for YOU to showcase your own music (entry details below).
Networking; for you to meet industry professionals, producers and local artists to develop your contacts within the industry.
Open Mic/Cypher; Watch local MC's and artists take to the stage in our open mic and cypher, with the opportunity for YOU to perform at the event (entry details below).
Doors Open at 6:30pm - 9:00pm Curfew.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS - PRODUCER SHOWCASE
Producer Showcase will be displaying beats, music and instruments created by local producers and artists to display. If you are interested in taking part, you will need to submit your track(s) to GetToKnowFest@outlook.com. Tracks will be no longer than 2 minutes. Please give your artist/producer name, social media pages/website and links/downloads of your tracks.
OPEN MIC/CYPHER
Open mic and Cypher will give you the opportunity to perform or MC on stage. If you are interested in taking part, you will need to email us at GetToKnowFest@outlook.com with you artists name, social media pages/website, links/download of your work.
If accepted we will give you a timeslot to display your work and perform live! We will be asking for sign ups on the day, time permitting. So feel free to bring your tracks and talent with you on the day!
