Housewives are an experimental band hailing from London. Droning bass lines and ethereal samples combine with minimal drum beats to create an enveloping sound of syncopated rhythms and antithetical song structures.
Their kinetic live sets have cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting live bands in Europe; championed by the likes of Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music) and pioneering experimental musician Charles Hayward (This Heat). They join the likes of Liars and Animal Collective in laying the gauntlet for experimental music this decade and pushing the boundaries of what a live band can do.
