Bank teller and single mother Sheila is ready to get back into the dating game. At a peculiar department store, where the staff seems to speak in riddles, she finds a very unique scarlet dress she hopes will bring her luck. But the dress truly is like no other, and those who wear it must suffer the consequences. Peter Strickland creates an exquisite, surreal, psychosexual thriller with a sense of humour as dark as its garment's motives.
We're pleased to welcome director Peter Strickland for a special Q&A following this screening.
