Explore the knotty subject of Macramé to create simple but decorative items for you and your home. In this workshop you’ll be introduced to basic knots,
explore materials and equipment and learn how a few simple techniques can creating a wealth of useful and attractive items.
After learning a few braiding knots and different ways to use them, you will use your new found macramé skills to practice on a small plant pot holder
before creating a larger one to take home and show off your house plants in style! There will be a variety of wall hanging or free hanging styles to choose
from, and nothing goes to waste; you can use your practice pieces to create bracelets and key fobs too.
This workshop will take place in our light-filled and inspiring studios at Sneinton Market Avenues. We are centrally located with plenty of on-street parking (pay at meter) as well as several car parks nearby, and we are only 10 minutes walk from Lace Market Tram Stop and Nottingham Station.
Cost: £38.00 includes all tuition, tools and materials, as well as tea or coffee and cake (please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements upon booking)
