17th May 2019
10:00 - 13:00 BST
During the workshop you will make a stained glass suncatcher to take home. Stained glass artist, Jen McEwan, will teach you how to cut glass safely to a pattern, grind glass and to solder the pieces together using the foil wrap method.
You will be able to select a pattern from Jen’s pattern book, which ranges from angels and dragonflies to butterflies, flowers, houses and more! Jen will also bring you lots of different coloured sparkly glass to choose from and all the tools you will need to create your masterpiece.
For your safety, we would ask that you follow this dress code - No flip flops or open toed shoes, as we don’t want glass between our toes and no shorts or short skirts as sometimes we will be working with hot solder.
It’s a workshop for beginners and people who have already had a go before. Suitable for those over 18 only.
