12th February 2020
17:45 - 20:00 GMT
A workshop designed to guide you through embroidering a line drawing onto a tote bag. We will get you started with embroidering linework.
About this Event
Embroider a line drawing onto a tote-bag, and leave with your own personalised bag, and the skills you need to start producing high quality embroidered art. All materials are included, and no previous experience is necessary. All you need to bring is a line drawing to work from. There will be drawings available at the workshop if you don’t want to bring your own.
The two-hour session will introduce you to the basics of embroidery. In the workshop, we will explore how thread can be used to produce different line weights and effects. For best results, please bring a reference drawing in a size roughly between A6 and A5.
This is the second of two linked workshops. Together they will guide you through the process of designing and creating a piece of embroidered art. You can book each separately, or book them together for a small discount.

Suitable for ages 18+
