NICK ASLAM
Nick plays his own material which has been described as "catchy melodies and skilful songwriting are infectious and if you’re not toe-tapping at one of his gigs it must be because you have no toes. His fusion of Folk, Indie and Country music really does just hit the spot. young, exuberant and sure to be going somewhere” (Nusic Nottingham)
Nick Aslam has caught the attention of highly respected producers such as ‘Youth’ (Killing Joke) and Mike Bennett (Fall, Wishbone Ash, Stone Roses) and is working on new music for 2019
Nick is a smooth blend of Andy Williams & Roger Whittaker meets Jake Bugg. These are pioneering times, Nick could be what we are looking for. Martin Glover (Youth).
Nick Aslam is a product of the council estates and streets in Burton on Trent who in this last year has been injected by the press as one of the UK's best new singer-songwriters. His quest into the music industry has been welcomed with enormous support from the BBC & local radio stations across the nation.
In a journey that spans 4 years, Nick's sound continues to grow and develop, inspired by the deep dark murky back streets of his hometown to the romance and magic of our very own cities!
A striking singer-songwriter with falsetto vocals ." Great catchy songs with lyrics that don't just tell a story, they make you remember the things you thought you had forgotten. If you can't relate to them, you will want to " (Nottingham Post)

THE FLAVELLS
The Flavells are a four-piece alt-rock band from the Clifton Area of Nottingham, whose members are Billy Kennedy (Vocals/Lead Guitar), Ashley Wood (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Grant Bugg (Bass Guitar) and Cameron Pridgeon (Drums), having initially started as a two-piece acoustic outfit in mid 2016 The Flavells have grown in numbers, sound and following.
Their songs are written from the gut - hard-hitting and thought provoking with lyrics that comment on aspects of everyday life that we can all relate to, but there is also a youthful and energetic element to them which all together leaves them resonating with the listener long after the end of the gig.
Their sound has been compared to The Clash, Nirvana and Oasis to name a few and they have cited influences that range from the 60s onwards such as The Beatles, The Stone Roses, Kula Shaker, The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys and The Verve, all these influences have led to a diversity in their sound that is a breath of fresh air.
THE RUFFS
The Ruffs are alive when they are live. Their reputation for their live show cases is spreading further and faster than ever before. Gaining a strong following within their home town of Nottingham, other music hot spots such as Manchester and London are discovering this fresh sounding and highly capable Midlands 3 piece and holding on to them for dear life! Check out their debut EP ‘New Obsessions’ now on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music and all other online music stores..
