NECROBUTCHER is the founding member of the controversial Norwegian Black Metal band, Mayhem. NECROBUTCHER’s illustrated memoir is the only authentic and firsthand account published on the history of the band. Filmmaker Jonas Åkerlund says ‘Death Archives: Mayhem 1984-94’ “makes all other books on the subject look fake.” Metallica’s latest music video Man Unkind portrays actors playing Mayhem’s original line-up and Lars Ulrich of Metallica calls the band the ‘True pioneers of metal.’
