Learn the basics of needle felting and create a beautifully detailed Little Owl.
Needle felting is a great technique and relaxing to do. In this 4 hour workshop Anna will guide you through the making process; you’ll have time to learn the basics, develop your needle felting skills and learn to add more realistic details and features such as realistic texture, colouring and eyes for your little owl.
The workshop is suitable for beginners or those wanting to improve their skills, all materials are supplied and you'll receive a worksheet explaining the basics of needle felting, handy tips and suggestions of where to get materials so that you can take your newly learnt skills away and carry on creating fabulous creatures at home.
Anna learnt to felt many, many years ago whilst doing her degree, but has been specifically developing needle felting workshops, at The Making House in Burton on Trent, over the last 3 years. Felt is such a lovely tactile medium and she enjoys the possibilities of creating different birds, animals and creatures, sharing these ideas through these workshops.
This workshop will take place in our light-filled and inspiring Curious studios at Sneinton Market Avenues. We are centrally located with plenty of on-street parking (pay at meter) as well as several car parks nearby, and we are only 10 minutes walk from Lace Market Tram Stop and Nottingham Station.
Cost: £45 includes all tuition & materials and tea / coffee and cake (please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies when booking, as we don’t want anyone to miss out!) As the workshop spans lunchtime you might like to bring a packed lunch with you.
If you would prefer to pay by cheque or bank transfer please let us know by emailing hello@curiousnottingham.co.uk
