An intensely suspenseful debut from Dumisa, NUMBER 37 is a twisted, ferociously original take on Hitchcock’s REAR WINDOW. Trapped in his apartment, incapacitated in a wheelchair and unable to leave, Randall is a petty criminal who witnesses a murder across from his building, but his subsequent plan to use his knowledge of the crime to dig himself out the hole he’s in only plunges himself and his long-suffering partner deeper into deadly danger.
