Street Art Festival 2019: Call for Submissions
Graffiti / Alternative/ Illustration / Paste-Up / Graphics / Yarn Bombing / Sticker Tagging / Print / Lightbombing / Etc.
The Street Art Festival at Surface Gallery celebrates and supports Nottingham’s thriving alternative art scene by showcasing some of today’s best local, national, and international street art.
Up to six pieces can be submitted per person and all work will be hung salon style, packed from floor to ceiling. All submissions will be displayed as long as you can get them through the door. But please keep it on theme: keep it street; keep it urban.
Deadline for Submissions: Saturday 15th June 17:00
Submissions can be delivered to the gallery on the delivery dates with a completed application form and small entry fee. Application packs can be downloaded from www.surfacegallery.org/opportunities/ or paper copies can be picked up from the gallery during opening hours.

Solo exhibition in Surface Gallery’s alternative artspace: Le Loovre
Hung Up Prize
Prizes will be awarded at the launch party. The judges will be Dilk, internationally acclaimed street artist, Claire Dunn (aka Nob Cheddar on Toast), two-times Street Art Festival prizewinner, and Rob Jackson, winner of last year’s Hung Up prize. The prizes will be announced by MC Jason Loftus.
LAUNCH PARTY: Friday 28th June 18.00 to 22:00
With DJ set from Stiff Kittens and some authentic Caribbean street food from the awesome Dumplin Shack
