As part of the BFI’s Comedy Genius season, The Screen at Contemporary have produced a live cinema event celebrating the life and work of comedy legend, Buster Keaton.
We will be showing Keaton’s recently restored comedy masterpiece, The General, accompanied by a live original score by all-women trio, Haiku Salut. With a mix of rock, folk and electronica intertwined with a captivating stage show of pulsing lamps we will revive the magic of the ‘Picture Show’ for an evening of comedic and visual spectacle.
