About
Celebrate World Poetry Day with us at The Poetry of Language workshop this March!
In this workshop, you will explore a wide range of writing techniques, designed to help you reflect on the use of language and languages in poetry, as well as the ways in which poetry differs across cultures.
You'll explore forms from around the world and think about ways to incorporate other languages into your work. As a group, you'll discuss writing in translation, and use a series of writing techniques to discover new ways of working.
This workshop is a must for new-comers to poetry-writing and is also suitable for poets looking to find new ways to generate work. Participants are welcome to write in any language during this workshop, but please be aware that the teaching and mentoring will be done primarily in English.
