Josh Leach’s synesthesia enables him to ‘see’ sound, so as Diggery, he will be ‘drawing’ live to UKYA alumni Think Thomas's freestyle electronics. Monica Tolia’s performances explore the agency of the moving body in the machinic soundscape, while Wilderness Hymnal’s live performances focus on transporting audiences and fostering an intense emotional connection through dynamic, immersive sound, projection and costume. Modern-day, queer shaman Oberon White takes us on a journey into the mysteries of history’s suppressed queer deity, Dionysos. Through a language of experimental electronic music, virtuosic vocals and original text, audiences are participants in a communal experience.
