11th February 2019
14:00 - 16:00 GMT
This event features a screening of three films from music and sound artists. Using a creative process he calls 'Memory-Diving', Josh Leach’s films have focused on revisiting childhood memories and he will be hosting a discussion alongside his film screening in maintenance of this intimacy. In the second of these films, Connor O’Mara explores the fictional world of Douglas Savage and invites you to follow his ongoing story afterwards, before Ruth Spencer Jolly’s film 'European Unison' presents a musical performance and intervention which took place on the eve of triggering Article 50 in 2017. This event featured a performance from 28 pianists, who gathered to represent the members of the European Union, playing out the history of the EU from its birth to Brexit on 28 pianos in one room.
